Summary:
The Maintenance Director is responsible for all the maintenance operations, inspections, and compliance with ODH and Life Safety Code standards and regulations.
This position will oversee and provide general maintenance on a day-to-day basis.
Duties will include basic carpentry; painting; plumbing; preventative maintenance; and promoting a positive and safe living environment for our residents.
Duties:
Develop and ensure implementation of a preventive maintenance plan which describes specific tasks to be completed and the time frame for completion.
Assure compliance with state,federal and other regulatory guidelines.
Determine schedules conduct and document fire and disaster drills in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Schedule and monitor service performed by outside contractors/agencies to determine compliance with contracts/work orders.
Participate in surveys/inspections by external agencies Maintain accurate records and logs on maintenance activities.
Provide facility-wide training on safety issues, as requested.
Perform routine maintenance and repair on building and grounds.
