Do you have fabrication and or cutting experience? RAMM Fence is looking for experienced, team oriented people to fill open positions at our company.
We MIG and TIG weld custom pieces as well as jig/template pieces on mild steel ranging from 12 ga.
To 16 ga.
All of these materials need to be cut to exact measurements on our cold saws and that is where you come in.
You will also need to operate an iron worker, drill press, band saw as well as other tools/machines.
Pulling and staging of material.
We work Monday- Thursday from 6am to 4:
30pm/ 4 -10 hour days/ first shift.
Overtime on occasion but not often.
This position reports to the Shift Leader.
Responsibilities:
Carry out your tasks in a timely manner Know and understand how to operate a cold saw and iron worker Follow our processes and procedures for fabrication and cutting Pull materials for builds/ steel channels, tubing and angle iron Visual inspection of finished parts, clean up of weld spatter with grinders and sanders Stock shelves with incoming materials Package materials for transport to powder coat or galvanizer REQUIREMENTS:
2 or more years working in a fabrication/welding environment or construction environment using saws.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to be on your feet for 10 hour shifts.
Ability to read prints for fabrication.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32 increments PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Ability to work cross functionally Must be able to lift weights up to and may exceed 75lbs.
