Quantum Equipment Quantum Equipment Swanton, OH Swanton, OH Full-time Full-time From $30 an hour From $30 an hour 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Quantum Mechanics, a well-established industrial door and loading dock equipment dealer is searching for a personable, detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist / Estimator to assist in assessing our customers' needs, calculating project costs, preparing and presenting quotes, and following up with delivery and installation schedules.
This person will interact with established customers throughout NW Ohio/SE Michigan through in-person meetings, phone and email.
If you have mechanical aptitude, familiarity with Microsoft office, the ability to stay organized and keep detailed records, coupled with the desire to assist customers with problem-solving their equipment needs, we will train you in the industry specifics for a career in this field.
Position is normally a 40 hr.
week / Monday-Friday / only local travel in personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Mechanical aptitude to learn product applications and understand jobsite requirements as covered in our provided job training.
Familiarity with loading dock equipment and doors a plus.
Strong telephone, written and in-person communication skills The ability to keep tasks & details organized The ability to interact with customers and represent our company in a professional manner, along with the willingness to abide by customers' safety & conduct requirements for their onsite visitors Familiarity with Microsoft Office A valid Driver's License
Responsibilities:
Support customers requesting product information by making calls, setting up meetings and regular follow-up Acquire an understanding of the requirements of the project Visit the customer's facility to gather essential information for equipment needs and installation data Review site documents / consult with suppliers to collect all necessary data Ensure preparation & presentation of accurate and timely quotes Place orders as per approved quotes, monitor deliveries and handle issues as needed Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, etc.
) Act as the point of contact to communicate project status to all participants Demonstrate positive, supportive behavior in all interactions with vendors, co-workers and customers Job Type:
